Sundays are Headline days at Festival Church Old Colwyn! We open at 10:00 with tea and coffee, and our service starts at 10:30.
We have our Festival Kids programme running every Sunday morning. For parents with babies or toddlers, we have a creche area with a large viewing window - so you won't miss a thing.
After the service, there’s more tea, coffee and refreshments available.
We have plenty of parking with 2 car parks: a lower car park (with accessible parking) and top car park.We are on the number 12 bus route that goes from Rhyl to Llandudno every 10 minutes and the bus stop is 100 meters from our building.
We can’t wait see you!
Jay and Chloe Lusted have been leading Festival Church Old Colwyn since May 2022 but have been part of Festival Church since 2016.
Married since 2016, with a daughter Olivia. They love spending time with family and friends, and they enjoy traveling and going to the theatre.
Festival Church Old Colwyn began life as Bethel Christian Centre in the late 1960s led by Pastor Charles Bowler. The Church grew over the years under different leaderships and soon realised that they had outgrown the building. We renamed to Sure Hope Church to reflect the hope of Jesus in the community. In 2004, they purchased their current building which is a great facility in the heart of the community.
We joined the Festival Church family in March 2022, with Jay and Chloe Lusted becoming the new Lead Pastors in May 2022, and changed our name to Festival Church Old Colwyn in April 2023. We are so excited about what the future holds!
