What is the format of Raising Faith?
The evening sessions are run on Zoom from 7:30pm (8pm after the first week) to 9:15pm and are broken up into a number of smaller blocks. In each session there's a fantastic video from Care for the Family to watch as a group. There will then be plenty of time to discuss what we've heard in groups.
What subjects do we look at?
Here is the subject list for what we will be looking at each week.
Session 1: Everyday faith: we can do this!
Session 2: It starts at home: the value of a warm, affirming family environment in building faith
Session 3: Making faith visible: your personal relationship with God makes a difference
Session 4: Connecting with God: identifying how our children best relate to God
Session 5: Journeying together: navigating doubts and difficult questions
Session 6: Belonging is key: connecting our children into the life of the church
If I have not used Zoom before, what do I do?
It is very easy, but if you have any concerns, we will help you through it. The only thing you need to do is ensure you have registered for a Zoom account.
