Festival Church Online is part of Festival Church, a charity registered in England and Wales; registered charity number 1188521.

OUR STORY

In March 2020, the coronavirus pandemic changed the way we did church forever! Restrictions brought in by UK Government to help control the spread of coronavirus meant that we could not gather in person at our local church buildings for some time, and so began Festival Church Online.

We started using the online.church platform to stream our online Sunday Services for each of our 5 UK locations, as well as moving many of our small groups to Zoom from the first week we were unable to meet in person. After a short time, we added a weekly prayer meeting and Alpha Online to the list of online church activities, as well as holding a "virtual coffee shop" Zoom call after our Sunday morning services to help people stay connected online.

Our online service grew to include not just those in the UK, but from South Africa, Kenya, and further afield.

In May 2021, we were so excited to launch our online congregation, in addition to our existing physical local congregations across England and Wales.
