Festival Church is one church family made up of many congregations, each with a heart for mission in local communities. We regularly gather to celebrate the goodness and love of God, and everyone is welcome to join us on this incredible transformative adventure of following Jesus!
‘Where earth meets sky, where God meets humanity, where we meet humility, and together we make history.’
Together with a great team of leaders, Festival Church is led by Senior Pastors Tim and Emily Rowlands.
Tim and Emily have four children and in their spare time, Tim enjoys music and mountaineering and Emily enjoys open water swimming and writing.
As a church, we affirm the Apostle’s Creed as follows:
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
*The word 'catholic' in the Apostle's Creed refers to the whole expression of Christ's church.
Festival Church began life as a number of separate congregations, which over time have journeyed to become one big church family!
With one vision, shared governance, and a heart to creatively express God's mission, our congregations are one united church, where unity and diversity go hand in hand - just like members of a real family.
Festival continues to grow, at home in various communities along the North Wales Coast, Chester, Mid-Wales, and Derby.
Festival Church is an Assemblies of God church, and a member of the Evangelical Alliance.
